5 Summary and future prospects

Though the editor provides many aspects of the VOCL-language, it is far away from being a complete implementation. However, the features implemented up to now are covering a wide range of expressions. Improvements can be made on many places, beginning with making the usage of the editor easier and more intuitive, adding more comfortable ways of editing, insert new functionality and finding and removing bugs, that where not discovered by now. Feel free to contact us, when you think you found a bug or if you have an idea of an improvement.
Future works on top of this editor are also imaginable. During our implementation period, the idea came up, that it is possible to create a JUnit testcase generator as an extension of this editor, by mapping the constraints to test-cases. Another reasonable extension would be, to connect the VOCL editor with a class diagram editor, so that constraints can refer directly to modeled classes. That would make it easier to develop constraints, because the existance of classifiers could be validated or existing ones could be proposed by the editor itself for usage. But of course, this would lead to much work ...
