Jörg Hohwiller, Diethelm Schlegel

Abstract: Service oriented architectures (SOA) have established to shape large IT landscapes. Business process management (BPM) aims to bring more ?exibility to the enterprise and pushes a business driven SOA. In the last years BPM-suites (BPMS) have grown to large and powerful systems. They both address development (mod- elling) as well as execution. Hence they have a big impact on the software con?g- uration management (SCM). This paper consolidates best practices that help to do professional software con?guration management in the context of BPM and SOA.
