- I was accepted as a member of the Huawei student program which promotes cultural exchange with China and includes an educational trip to Beijing and Shenzen.
- I was accepted as a member of the Software Campus program for excellent PhD students. I will be managing a research project which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and supported by Huawei Technologies.
- Our paper 'Estimating Join Selectivities using Bandwidth-Optimized Kernel Density Models' was accepted for publication in PVLDB and will be presented at VLDB'18 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
