Martin Kiefer

Research associate at the Database Systems and Information Management Group of TU Berlin since April 2016.

I am a PhD candidate supervised by Volker Markl. I received my M.Sc degree at TU Berlin and worked as a student research assistant at DIMA for two and a half years. Prior to that, I received my B.Sc degree at Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW Stuttgart) and worked at IBM for three years.

My research interests include data management, modern hardware, query optimization and selectivity estimation.
